A minimal, visual-first design store and e-commerce experience for premium lifestyle products
Kin North produces premium design candles and lifestyle goods. They wanted a website that felt calm, minimal, and premium, avoiding cluttered layouts while maintaining clear e-commerce conversion paths.
We custom-designed a Shopify theme using Liquid, JavaScript, and custom CSS variables. By limiting JavaScript execution and implementing lazy loading for high-res imagery, we achieved an ultra-fast, smooth scrolling experience.

The challenge was keeping the visual balance between photography and store UI. We structured a minimal grid with generous whitespace and smooth hover transitions, drawing attention to product detail highlights.
